2– 3 slices bread (whole wheat buckwheat, sourdough, rye, gluten-free or other high-quality bread from the health food store)
Sweet topping (tahini honey and LSA; banana and LSA; Apricot Jelly) (optional)
Savoury topping (boiled poached or curried eggs; grilled tomatoes; sardines; salmon; tuna; fresh Cooked Mushrooms; freshly sliced avocado with a squeeze of lime or lemon juice, finely chopped spring onions and black pepper; Tofu and Salmon Spread) (optional)
Spread (Pineapple and Ginger Spread mashed banana with blueberries and lemon juice; sliced banana topped with kiwifruit and sprinkled with LSA) (optional). Avoid processed jellies and jams high in sugar.
NOTE: no eggs during Section 2 (weeks 3–6).
